NXL names two new Associates

NXL is pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Lacombe and Derek Inward as Associates. Frédéric and Derek join Stephen Ginsberg, OAA who has been an associate of the firm since 2004.

Frédéric Lacombe, B.Sc. Arch, B.Arch., OAQ Intern

Frédéric joined NXL Architects as a Project Manager in 2005. Since then, Frédéric has managed a variety of projects in both the public and private sectors, including the Consolidated Pathology Facility and Toronto Medical Discovery Tower for University Health Network. He is currently managing the Life Sciences Building at York University. Frédéric’s background also includes extensive experience managing pharmaceutical and biotech projects on-site for the constructor at Wyeth’s former campus in Montreal.  Frédéric graduated from McGill University with a degree in architecture in 1994.

Derek Inward

Derek joined NXL Architects in 1997. Derek currently manages NXL’s Production Department. Along with providing direction and mentoring to our staff of technologists and high-level technical coordination on large and small projects, Derek also undertakes the roll of Senior Job Captain and Assistant Project Manager for a variety of Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Biotech projects. Current and previous clients include Septodent/Novocol Pharmaceutical Division, York University, Patheon Inc, Estee Lauder Companies, Cytochroma Inc, and Hemosol Inc.  Derek graduated from Centennial College in 1997.
