NXL is pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Lacombe and Derek Inward as Associates. Frédéric and Derek join Stephen Ginsberg, OAA who has been an associate of the firm since 2004.

Environment Minister Peter Kent Tours Life Sciences Building at York University

Along with York University’s project leaders and facility users for the Life Sciences Building (LSB), David Lauzon and Frédéric Lacombe of NXL attended an informal walk-through of the new research and teaching facility with Federal Environment Minister Peter Kent.

NXL Presents Krembil Discovery Centre at 2nd Annual BIM Forum

Jay Levine, in conjunction with Ron Mar of Stantec Architecture, Jason Chobotiuk of Black and McDonald, and Ian Trudeau of Halsall and Associates presented the University Health Network’s Krembil Discovery Centre (KDC) at the 2nd Annual BIM Forum in Toronto on March 24, 2011.

Sherman Health Sciences Research Building
April 10, 2010
After much anticipation and excitement, faculty and staff have finally moved into the Sherman Health Sciences Research Building. The facility includes areas for brain imaging, a virtual reality environment with rotating sphere and tumbling rooms, a visuo-motor assessment, infant visual development, as well as research programs in health promotion and neuroscience. This will also become the first fMRI on the campus.
